JOINING BMOS
WHAT WE DO
Award-winning musicals, variety cabarets, community projects such as performing at care homes, appearances at fetes and Christmas light switch-ons, workshops and classes plus, of course, getting together for the odd BBQ, bowling, group theatre trips or just a big ole sing song!
We typically rehearse on Thursday and Sunday evenings.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership runs 1st September to 31st August each year and typically runs through two shows. It is just £25 for the year! All membership fees go straight towards the day-to-day running of the group; equipment, storage space, insurance, rehearsal space for our community projects and much more.
SHOW FEES
Show fees are separate to membership fees and tend to vary show to show - we try to keep it as low as possible. The fee helps us to cover a small portion of the costs involved in producing a show; rehearsal venues, tech equipment, costumes, props, set, licensing... the list goes on!
All fees can be paid in instalments.
AUDITIONS
We hold auditions shortly before each rehearsal process is due to begin. Our next audition day will be held on Sunday 26th May for our November 2024 production of 'Disney's Beauty and the Beast'
Your audition for one of our projects counts as your membership audition, although if you are interested in joining outside of show season do get in touch!
